Spotlight: Photography with Poems by Ann Tudball (#04)

Welcome to episode #4 of our spotlight on Ann Tudball’s wonderful work. In this episode Ann shares two great poems for you all to enjoy, while I supply the images for each of these amazing pieces of work.

In episode #4 we have two poems, the first titled “I’ll find you today” and the second titled “I wish”.

I Wish

I wish I could count every passing cloud in the sky. I wish could stand and gaze at sunrise to sunset. To pick the fruit of every tree. And smell every flower in the field.

I wish I could swim in the blue sea from dawn to dusk. I wish each night would lend me the sweetest dreams. Away from the demons and devils of darkness.

I wish I could read every book ever written. and listen to every lesson to be learnt. I wish I could draw the world ten times over. and teach every voice to sing from their soul.

But for most of all… I wish I was with you.

I’ll Find You

I’ll find you today,
I’ll find you tomorrow.
I’ll search every mountain high, and every river running low.
I’ll search night and day until love finally comes our way.

I’ll find you at the morning sunrise, and under the nightly stars.
I’ll find you at the misty shore standing alone, whispering my name to the horizon afar.

I’ll search you in a world of unrelated faces until you find me standing alone, holding out my arms full of love to throw away your ever falling tears to the blue heavens above..
