Leica like colours are really not that dissimilar to Fuji colours for the most part, except for the reds and blues. Those Leica reds are to die for. For this Leica-Like-2 recipe, I’ve re-evaluated the X-Trans III version and given the images a little more “Richness” using the X-Trans IV capabilities.
Of course, just like Fuji, Leica have a number of profiles in their cameras, ranging from standard, vivid and smooth colourings, all subtly different. Once again, I’ve based the recipe using Provia, as I think it matches Leica colours closest.
We know you can only get Leica colours from a Leica, but hopefully this recipe will give you another bullet in your cannon and allow you to get pretty close to the feel of a Leica. This particular recipe aims to recreate the Leica Smooth type profiles.
