A visit to Laugharne. A stunning historic coastal village.

First of all, I didn’t realise it’s been 11 days since I last posted, I apologise, and I have forgotten to put up a lot of great images. So, to make up for it, I will share images from todays visit to Laugharne Castle in Carmarthenshire, South Wales. It’s a tiny, historic seaside village, with an impressive castle and some great scenery. It was so beautiful, it’s hard for anyone to take a bad photograph there!

I took my Fujifilm X-T3 along with the 15-45mm and the TTArtisan 7.5mm along with my Google Pixel 6 mobile phone. I mention the phone, as I am using it more and more for photography, and indeed, last week when I was out, I took some amazing images with it, and I really need to share them on here when I get the chance! Anyway, here are the images from the X-T3, and all EXIF data is in the images. All straight from camera Classic Chrome with colour turned down to the max.

Laugharne is famous, not only for its castle, but for the infamous Dylan Thomas, the great Welsh poet and writer who used the boathouse and little shed as drinking grounds and writing grounds. He’s a fascinating charater if you want to Google him!

Anyway, as I said, I also used my Google Pixel 6 for some images, and these can be found here. There were edited in Google Photos with a LUT. The more I use a mobile phone, the more I love the freedom it gives, and the images are as good as any dedicated camera these days!

I think you’ll agree, it’s a beautiful place to visit, and if you are in Wales one day, it’s well worth it! Photographing beautiful things, surely does make you feel better than photographing things that are not so nice to photograph. It just lifts you up as you look at the images on the back of your phone and see that everyone is amazing.

Please leave feedback, let me know what you think, and I will be back very soon!

Thank you all everyone!
