Ever since I can remember, I have visited the fair that arrives in Neath every September. It has been a part of Neath for hundreds of years, and this year was no exception. Although I have only been around the stalls this year, the fair is all ready to open tonight, where it hosts rides to thousands of visitors from around Wales and beyond.
The neath fair is a traditional event that takes place every September in the town of Neath, Wales. It dates back to the 13th century, when it was granted a royal charter by King Edward I. The fair attracts thousands of visitors who enjoy the stalls, rides, shows and entertainment. The fair is also known for its livestock market and cheese fair, where local farmers and producers sell their products. The neath fair is a celebration of the town’s heritage and culture, and a fun day out for everyone.
I thought I would travel light, and so just took my Panasonic Lumix FS10 CCD camera with me. It is so small, so stealthy, and gives perfect images every time without having to worry about focus or anything else. Images were edited in Photoscape X Pro.

I have tried to capture the people along with the feeling of the event. The wife and I went early in the morning, as by late afternoon it is difficult to move through the streets as there are thousands of peoples squeezed into them. We had a good time, bought a few things, ate a few things and soaked up the atmosphere.
Do you have similar events that take place where you live that have been returning for as long as you remember?

A good place for people watching Mark. Looks like a good chance for everyone to market their wares, including Dinky Donuts. I like that name. Here we call them Mini Donuts or Those Little Donuts. Cheers. Allan

Thank you Allan. It’s surprising how many “dinky donuts” companies there are over here! I like the name mini donuts though, that describes them better!
