Those of you who follow me on social media will know that I’ve been advertising and working on the his book for a little while. The idea came about when I realised I had built up a backlog of articles for the website onecameraonelens.com, and so to compliment my unreleased articles I re-wrote some older and popular articles I had already published and eventually “The Source Of Photography” was the result.
The eBook features 20 articles I’ve wrote over 20 different subjects on photography. From simple opinion pieces, to advice and techniques. Any technical advice I’ve shared has been double checked with various sources, to ensure the articles are accurate, and I never tell you that you HAVE to do something a certain way as photography is a minefield of contradictions.
I hope that all, or part of this book will be useful. Most importantly, I hope that it gets you thinking and questioning your photography and the way you take photographs. It has something for everyone, from the beginner through to the professional photographer and everything in-between.
It’s is available in PDF and EPUB formats for easy viewing on your computers, phones and e-readers in the format that suits you. An enhanced version will join eBook stores (such as Amazon Kindle) in the near future to join my other publications, but this will be my first photography publication on an online store.

Currently available photography publications:
“Alleys, Art and Architecture” available in all local libraries and for direct sale as a hardback book (£25)
“The Source Of Photography” available as a free eBook on this website and soon on Kindle store.

Clever idea, Mark!
Turning a backlog of articles into a cohesive eBook like The Source Of Photography is smart, practical, and genuinely inspiring.
Makes me think about how I could do something similar with RawTherapee.
Gathering tips, techniques, and insights into one neat package.
This definitely puts youre work more in the spotlight, and it’s a great read whether you’re just starting out or have been shooting for years.
Top idea Mark !
All the best,
Marc.
