A Year Long Portrait Project (Images currently only available in print format)
Over the period of the year 2024, I decided to do a portrait session every month of myself. This gave me the incentive to try out different lighting techniques.

Myself and Andrew were asked to photograph a couple of families to make memories for them as one of the families was visiting from New Zealand. This was such a special shoot!
A Gallery Event Shoot, July 2024
I was invited to photograph a gallery event for a local artist, and I took the oppurtunity to take candid photographs of the event and its people.

Sometimes, you just have to do a mini-shoot, and this was one such shoot. Using a studio environment, hopefully I’ll be doing more like this in the future.

This was the second shoot with Imogen in the space of less than a week, and as always, it was a privilege to take photos of this amazing talent. A much more urban vibe to this photoshoot.

This was my very first time working with Sian, and as a newbie herself to modelling, we had a lot of fun, and she was such a great model, sporting two very different looks!

This was a very windy evening to do a photoshoot, but Imogen was a fantastic model, and such a natural. I’m very happy with the images, and it gave us time to use off-camera lighting and experiment.

If ever there was a professional model, Mark is the man! I have known Mark for many years, but I had never worked with him before. This was one of my favourite shoots I have done.

Ffion was a joy to work with, on a warm and sunny sunset in May. Ffion was a great model, and this was my first model shoot using off camera flash.

The second photography shoot with Jess was a brilliant, if windy day. It was a great excuse to use my new 40mm F/2 lens too, and the results were spectacular!

My first real attempt at a portrait shoot with a model. Jess was fantastic, and I learned a lot from this shoot. Most importantly I learned that I love taking photos of people! My only Fujifilm portrait shoot.
