We were lucky to be the photographers for a lovely couple and their children. Martyna and James were married on 08-08-25 and it was a wonderful small event. Here are a few images from the day, just to give you a taster of the wonderful day.
All images were captured on the Nikon Z6ii and the Nikon ZF with the 85mm F/1.8 and 35mm F/1.4 lenses respectively. Editing was completed in Darktable.
It is really great when we are allowed to share images from weddings and events so close to when they were taken. Another happy couple!
Photographing weddings is a nervous time for a photographer, especially if the couple are friend or family. Glad it all worked out and the happy couple seemed very relaxed amidst it all. Happy Sunday evening Mark. Allan
Thank you! Thankfully I avoid friends and family, as they are the most picky! I love weddings, I really get into the swing of the event.
Well, like Allan says—I’ve tried it a few times myself, but the stress, and in my case photographing people, just isn’t my thing. That said, you’re clearly good at it, and that’s the beauty of photography—we’re all different. If we weren’t, we’d all be shooting the same stuff in the same way, and where’s the fun in that? 🙂
