It’s a bank holiday today here in the UK, and a little family outing was at hand! We visited a favourite place, and I didn’t take my camera with me, but I did have my mobile phone and a glass ball to have a little fun! And now for something very different…
We visited Singleton Botanical Gardens and Brynmill Park. The Gardens are an amazing place, as if you were to visit them once a month, they would be very different each time. Such a breath-taking place to visit, and there’s plenty for the family to do to enjoy the afternoon.
All images are taken on my Huawei P30 Pro, and where used, there is the 80cm glass ball. Images cropped in Photoscape X Pro to 3:2 aspect ratio.
This was just a bit of fun, something different and the kids enjoyed helping me with these photos. I did notice that sometimes it was difficult to get the exact focus using the phone on the ball, but it was a learning experience. Sometimes, it’s just nice to go out without lugging the main camera along, you definitely get the family involved more that way!
I hope you enjoyed this bit of fun. More serious photography returning on Wednesday after my street shooting on Port Talbot Art Trail tomorrow with the group!
Great shots Mark.
And indeed something completely different.
Definitely putting these on my “things to buy” list.
Thanks !

They’re a bit of fun. I don’t pull out the glass ball often, but enjoy it when I do. That’s Marc!
