A Visit To Llanelli Wetlands

Ah birds… I love seeing them fly around, but photographing them is another thing. There are some birds I like, such as robins, but generally I can live without photographing them. I did however photograph plenty today, but these images I share with you are mostly not birds, but the things of beauty that I much prefer.

Llanelli Wetlands Centre is in Llanelli, South Wales, around 20 miles from where I live. It’s a great place to visit, and in the next few days you’ll have a video and plenty of bird photos, but for today I just wanted to show you these images.

I started the day planning to photograph in my “ProNegHi Warm” recipe that I promised to share with you (sneaky hint, the settings are in the spreadsheet in the Fuji section!) but after a few shots I decided I wanted to photograph in a film simulation I just adore. Classic Chrome! Yes, no matter what I photograph in, I always go back to Classic Chrome, and indeed, it will be an upcoming article on why that is! Anyway, here are today’s images. Classic Chrome, Fujifilm X-T3 and XF18-135mm and XC50-230mm.

It was a great day, with great people, and as I said, there will be another blog in the next couple of days with the video of the day, plus photos of birds! I really love photography, but recently I have started to just enjoy the walks more. I’m not sure what it is, but I am just frustrated with things. Anyway, that’s another story!

Thank you for reading, don’t forget to comment, like and all that stuff.
