It is always a great privilege to go out and photograph different cultures and ceremonies in the local area. This year was special, as the Sri Kalpaga Vinayagar Hindu Chariot Festival took place in the sun, and it was such a lovely day!
Taking photos as you all know, intrigues me. It allows me to tell stories with images, and hopefully the images I share with you today expresses the great joy and jubilaiton that was in the air for the ceremony. It was colourful, loud, and beautiful. We met people from all walks of life, including a lovely group of ladies from Banglandesh.
Here are the images, taken straight from my camera, only cropped or straightend if needed. Enjoy…

Supporting the local community is important, and I share these images to let people know that there is something for everything in this wonderful town of hours (Port Talbot). The temple website can be found HERE where you can learn much more than I could ever wish to share with you.
I love documenting, no matter what the subject. I love capturing people, places and preserving a place in time. Please follow my Facebook photography page HERE.
