Today we had a visit to Port Talbot, for some street photography, and the infamous art walk around the town. We had a great turnout, and visited our little town. We were invited into a few shops and businesses to photograph, and we most importantly enjoyed each others company.
It is October, and as you may remember from my last post, for the month of October I am photographing exclusively with the Nikon Z6ii, the Viltrox 20mm F/2.8 and in monochrome. I wanted to be a little different from the others today, so I took some other shots that were not just of the art walk itself.
All images are straight from camera jpegs, cropped to 5:4 ratio.

This is a finely tweaked monochrome, using an orange filter and I like the results. It will be the jpeg profile that I will probably use all month. I hope you enjoyed the images, and I would love for you to like, comment and subscribe!

Hey Mark! Beautiful series of photos from Port Talbot. This is something I always tend to forget as well—local subjects are often avoided because you see them every day. But for outsiders, it’s quite the opposite. So, it’s a really nice series that shows a part of your town. Sorry for the late response, but I’ve just returned from the Bushcraft event and am still recovering—in other words: unpacking, cleaning, putting things away, etc. I’ll be busy for a while. Hope everything is going well with you, my friend. Take care, and see you next time!
Marc.
