Autumn is in the air. It is not fully upon us yet, but a stroll up the local Afan Valley Woods let me know that autumn is on its way. With the air feeling crisp, the autumn sun shining through, autumn is sneaking in.
I know it was going to be a monochrome month, but with images like these, it just wouldn’t be right. For those who follow me on social media, you will know that I am generally sticking to my guns, with mostly black and white images.
All images taken on the Nikon Z6ii with the Viltrox 20mm F/2.8 lens and processed in Photoshop/ACR simply using the camera standard profile and cropped to 5:4 ratio.

And there we have it, a touch of autumn…
Thank you for viewing, and I hope you enjoyed.

Beautiful colors!
This series really shows why full-frame cameras can sometimes make a difference compared to APS-C or micro four-thirds cameras, especially when it comes to that shallow depth of field.
A very beautiful series, Mark! I really enjoyed it.
However, my WordPress Reader, which usually notifies me when you post something new, has been acting up again. I’m no longer receiving notifications from your site, even though I haven’t changed any settings. I’ve tried toggling everything off and on again, and I’ll see if it works over the next few days. I wonder if this only happens with the free version of WordPress.
And as always, all the best, Mark!

The same happened to me with your sites Marc, I had to keep turning it off and on until it worked again!
Thank you very much for your comment. I really am enjoying full frame these days.
