Today we had a walk in Forest Farm in Cardiff in the hope to photograph some birds and other wildlife, and I was in luck, as I captured some birds and other wildlife! Another visit to Fforest Farm, but it was lovely to get out!
All images taken on the Nikon Z6ii with Tamron 150-500mm lens and edited in ON1 Photo Raw 2025.
As you all know, I am not much of a wildlife photographer, but I enjoyed the day and I think I got some nice results. As always, comments are most welcome. Thank you for looking at todays brief blog, there will be another blog this week coming very soon!

Beautiful series, Mark, really – there are a few in there that I also recognize from here, but I actually see them very, very rarely, like that hawfinch with its orange-red belly – at least, I think it’s a hawfinch. Very beautiful in any case, just like all the other photos, simply stunning!
