I did not really go out to take photos of anything special today, just a few snaps of my local area in the lovely (but chilly) Spring sunshine. All images were taken on the Nikon Z6ii with the Z24-70 F/4 lens.
I was going to use the straight up jpeg files, but I do enjoy editing these days, so I edited the raw files in Darktable. I hope you enjoy.

Maybe you’ve done this already, but could you comment on why you like Darktable instead of say Lightroom and Photoshop? Can you mention Darktable’s support of OM System and ORF files?
Also where do you store your stash of photos long term? I default to Google and am aware of Adobe support for this via Lightroom and Photoshop, although I recently have begun to use Flickr more. My photos are generally technical and scientific macrophotography.
Thanks!

I use Darktable when I’m relaxing and enjoying photography. There’s no AI or anything and it’s therapeutic, plus really powerful with colour management. I was using my Olympus EPL8 with it, and had no issues. I sadly don’t know about out OM Systems cameras.
I do use Photoshop/ON1/Luminar quite a bit, but usually on my event photos for clients etc.
As for storage, I have a NAS and backup drives for long term storage. I use Google Photos to store my jpegs and edits online.
I can highly recommend Darktable, and have a dedicated section on the website with some tutorials etc.
Thank you for taking time to leave a message.
