A Walk In Clyne Gardens With The 90mm Macro Lens.

Yeah, what better way than to enjoy a walk than take one camera and one lens out in the field. I love doing that as you all know, and today I was happy to take a stroll with the Nikon Z6ii and the Tamron 90mm F/2.8 macro lens.

In a bit of a departure from portraits and events, I enjoyed the walk with my group in Clyne Gardens in Swansea. We have been there many times, but it is always a great day out. I decided to edit my images in Darktable, and here are the results.

Another enjoyable day, and I am very happy with the images and the performance of this lens. It has excelled in portraits and wildlife and macro. A fabulous all around lens when you put your mind to it and don’t just use it as a macro lens.

It has been fun sharing these with you, and watch out for a couple of upcoming blogs!

  1. Hey Mark!
What a stunning series of photos — and across a much wider range than that lens was ever meant for. Then again, I kind of expected it. Tamron has proven time and again that they know how to build seriously good glass — and this one’s no exception.
It looks like a perfect match for both you and your camera, and I’m already looking forward to seeing more!

    All the best,
    Marc

    1. Thank you Marc, it’s a lovely lens and the weather played nice for us. I would have liked to have seen more bees, but you can’t have everything!

This weekend I have another wedding, and this time I’ve got permission to share the images, so next week I hope I’ll have some extra special photos to share!
