Butterflies And Bees

You know what? I am enjoying my macro lens far more than I ever have enjoyed macro lenses in the past. You really get what you pay for, and it really shows in the images you capture! I had 10 minutes in the garden and my mission was to capture a butterfly… And I did, two in fact!

All images are taken on the Nikon Z6ii with Tamron Z90mm DiIII Macro and are straight from camera jpegs, cropped in software. Enjoy!

You know what? I LOVE the colours of Nikon cameras. This is just Nikon Standard (with +2 saturation) that I shoot as standard, and I never feel that I have to do anything with it.

  1. Stunning shots, Mark! I think you’ve found yourself a real winner with that lens – especially that dotted butterfly, absolutely gorgeous. Top work, Mark!
