Short Story #1

It’s another day and the weather really can’t makes its mind up. I took a call of news I didn’t what to hear. News that makes us realise how precious life is. I headed for somewhere where I could be alone. Trees draped along the river bed, the sun peering through the trees. Summer sun and summer rain. I hear the water run down stream and watch the fallen leaves race down the river.. As fast as my distance dreams..

Short Story #2

I woke early after a good rest and looked out. The day was damp and overcast. I drank two fresh espressos before I headed out. There was only one place I wanted to be, it was in search of peace and solidarity. I stood alone and heard the bird’s song and the buzzing bees. I smelt the sweet scents of the wild flowers, honeysuckle and primrose. The midday sun broke through the clouds. I faced to feel its warmth. I had only one that was ought. Summer is blessed.

I hope that you enjoyed something a little bit different with this blog entry. Photography and poetry are two things that I also love to do, and it would be great if you could leave feedback on this. I’m always looking for featured Spotlight photographers, so please contact me if you would like to appear here.
