A macro session in the garden.

So, after reading my friend Marc’s post about macro tubes the other day, I thought I would have a quick play with my macro tubes in my garden on this lovely sunny day.

I was using my Fujifilm X-T3 with 50-230mm lens (I found the 18-135mm too heavy). I set my shutter speed to 1/500 and my aperture to F/7.1 after trying F/18 earlier in the day, but found there was not enough with that aperture.

I used my Movo AF macro tubes, which were a set of three. 10mm 16mm and 21mm. All three were attached to the camera. They were then cropped square in Google Photos.

There’ll be much more macro soon!

  1. Good evening Mark, I was also in the garden today, unfortunately to work and not to photograph. The macro photos are great, the 50-230 is really good. I can’t wait to see more!
