A visit to somewhere I’ve never been before, and although only a stones throw away from last weeks visit to Parc Slip, Bedford Park was so much better in so many ways! A nature reserve, some amazing ruins, and an adventure that did not disappoint!
I wasn’t very well on this outing, and indeed, still not too well while writing this. In fact, when I got home after this day out, I was bed-bound for all the next day and even today I am up and down trying to get myself felling right. I did manage to get a video, as the place was just too nice to miss out on.
Here is the video from the day. I hope you like this. I’ve made a few tweaks, which will hopefully make it a bit more enjoyable.
During the visit, I took some really interesting photographs. Using the Fujifilm X-T3 and XC50-230mm along with the XC15-45mm (a combination I still love, no matter what other lenses I own and use) I hope I captured the day nicely. Images were captured in jpeg using my MGA Colour Chrome+ recipe, and edited in Photoscape X Pro.

I’m not sure what’s happening with WordPress gallery lately, but it seems to be mixing my images up. For the correct order, see the video. But I think you get the picture. Hopefully you enjoyed, and the little visual tweaks make things a little easier.
Just before this visit, I had made my mind up on something I’ve been thinking about for a long time, and in fact it’ll be a full article in the coming days. My change from shooting both raw and jpeg to jpeg only. Today was my first day doing this! And, for all the reasons you’ll see, I really enjoyed it!
Anyway, as I’m still not 100%, I’ll leave you until next time!
I am a semi-professional photographer who runs a weekly meeting photography group as well as numerous Facebook groups (Great Photography Walks South Wales and Fujifilm Lovers Worldwide Group). I also have a brand-new blog website dedicated to various other things which I like to call The Ramblings Of A Welshman. I hope you can join me there; you might find it interesting! You’ll find my YouTube Channel Here!
Hi Mark,
Another very fine video and pictures.
Don’t worry about the pictures in wordpress,
I think many users have problems with it – myself included.
Think it’s a bug.
Speaking of bugs, take good care of yourself and rest well.
I wish you a speedy recovery!
Marc.

Thank you Mark, I would have enjoyed the day much more if I had not been so ill, but it’s somewhere to go back to!
