I have already experimented with ICM (intentional camera movement) as can be seen in this post from a few weeks ago. Today I decided to spend the day shooting every single shot this way! I didn’t mind having them look like this, as its a familiar spot to me that I visit almost daily, so it gave me something different to work on.
All images shot with the Fujifilm X-T3 in monochrome with added grain and some with a vignette. The images are straight from camera and cropped to as I want them in 5:4 format. All shot in full manual mode.
This isn’t for everyone, so it’ll be a bonus if you enjoy!
I hope you enjoyed this little experiment. Some of the images worked better than others, but I’m happy with the overall look.

One Camera One Lens Photography 
Hi Mark, I’m already a fan! yes, it doesn’t always work out perfectly, but you have some nice ones in between. And indeed, it is an acquired taste.
I had come across this technique before with the photographer Jo Stephen, with photos of bluebells in color – they are like paintings.

My last attempt at this was flowers in colour, and yes, because of the movement they turn into paintings. I’ll check out that photographer. Thanks Marc 🙏

These are neat. One thing to watch, I have embraced Auto-ISO (after decades of being stuck with what ever film that I had in the camera), and I was trying for deliberate blur. I racked the aperture ring to the minimum and shot, only to see no blur. Then it hit me, the ISO cranked up to compensate for the aperture and to keep my shutter speed to the limit that I set.
Lesson, if you want to experiment with movement induced blur, go manual ISO with a low number.

I was in full manual, needed the shutter speed to be 1/8 for the look on this occasion and ISO160. Added a ton of grain on post for these.

I added a ton of grain on these in post, my Fuji is always controlled ISO, especially for these as it was so bright so I was on lowest ISO throughout (160). It just doesn’t work with auto-ISO.
