Another great Tuesday, with great weather, in a fantastic location and the opportunity to do some serious photography. Forest Farm is a little wildlife area on the outskirts of our Capital City, Cardiff. It is very picturesque, and has some of the best wildlife that you will see in the area, including the rare Kingfisher, which I actually managed to photograph and get images I am happy with!
Using my Fujifilm X-T3 and XC50-230mm, and edited in ON1 Photo Raw Max 2024, I am happy with the results, and enjoyed the day very much. I will let the images below do the talking.
I am not really a bird photographer, but I do like the oppurtunity to take their photos. Also, having a lovely landscape to photograph really makes me happy. I hope that you enjoy these images. I like colourful, vibrant images that you can hang on your wall, or look good on digital media. I see life in colour, and that is why you see so much colour from me!

Simply Stunning Images, Looked like a Fab day..lovely weather , Great Colours totally great…… I’ve always been the opersite I’ve seen B&W ,Texture & Tone…but since seeing more of Your work it’s opened my eyes to trying more Colour..a Big Thank you for that🙏👍.

Thank you Richard. I’ve tried black and white so many times, but I just can’t seem to enjoy it. I will have to set myself a task and do a month of monochrome next year!

Yeah Mark it’s worth a Go for a month it’s Definitely a marmite thing love or hate…. I’m definitely enjoying my Colour stint so far.

But those of the kingfisher are really stunning,
Not to be a bird photographer, you still managed to photograph a bird that most bird photographers like me have on their list, but never get one in front of the lens.
