A Short Visit To Margam With The 40mm Lens.

I’ve been to Margam Country Park many, many times, and I have highlighted it on this website many times over the years, but this is the first time I visited it with a full frame camera and a 40mm prime lens. As you all know, I love using prime lenses, and so this was a perfect opportunity to get out and take photos with this excellent combination of Nikon Z6ii and Z40mm F/2 lens.

I’ll just show you the images, I think they speak for themselves. Unusually for me, although edited in Darktable, I also made some monochrome images. Enjoy!

Here are the colour edits.

And here are the black and white edits.

I hope you like these images, rain sadly cut our journey very short. I have found so much more latitude in editing raw files from this Nikon, and everything just clicks into place more than it ever has done. Today is all about the images, so take a good look. I will catch you all soon!

*** I actually took a large selection of portraits with that lens, I was super impressed! These can be found on the Photography Adventures Wales Facebook group page.
