A Little River Walk

I did not realise that my last post was my 500th post! I would have had big celebrations, but never mind! Continuing my month of only using my Z6ii along with the Viltrox 85mm F/1.8 lens, we have these photographs from a little walk today.

All images were taken wide-open at F/1.8, because this lens is so sharp, and I really like the look it gives wide-open. Your eyes wander across the images, it makes you look and digest what is in front of you. Images were edited in Darktable using my “Portrish” colour profile (DtStyle).

Look out for another great adventure tomorrow!

  1. I understand why you like to shoot wide open, Mark — the contrast between the subject and the blurred background is strong and beautiful. A lovely series; I think the boats are my favorite, although it’s hard to choose. Well done, Mark, and congratulations on your 500 posts. All the best, Marc.
