Autumn is fading quickly, so we went out to find the last remaining touches of colour. This year autumn seems to have gone by very quickly, so it was nice to get out possibly for the last time while the dying embers of autumn were still visible.
Armed with my trusty Nikon Z6ii, I actually took three lenses with me today. Unusually for me, my main lens was the Nikkor Z24-70mm F/2, while I also had the 7Artisans Z14mm F/2.8 and the Tamron Z90mm F/2.8 macro. Images were edited in Darktable using (mostly) my Saturated Punch colour profile.

It was a nice little venture out to Bryngarw County Park, amongst the leaves on the floor, dozens of squirrels and the sound of the birds. I really struggled with the 24-70 though, I really prefer prime lenses, and I think in hindsight that perhaps I should have replaced it with the Z35mm or Z50mm F/1.4 lenses.
I hope you enjoyed this, and feedback is always welcome.

A lovely autumn series, Mark – great colours all around. But what really grabbed me is that flowing water. Funny coincidence: I tried something similar in video recently, but you pulled off a gorgeous effect with just stills. Nicely done! Have a great Friday, Mark!

I guess you mean the Nikon 24-70 F/4.0 zoom lens instead of F/2.0? 😀
Because i neither own a macro nor a ultra wide lens (and because i am a total beginner), i do enjoy looking at the metadata to get a feel how the shot was done. In your “Mushrooms And Autumn” series these were available.
Nevertheless, it was a pleasure flicking through! I admire your motivation and consistency to post so regularly.

Thanks for pointing that out about the lens, I’m not sure why the exif data is not available, I’ll look into that as it should be.
Thank you very much for your great input.
