A Blue Tit

A lovely little blue tit taken on my Nikon Z6ii with Tamron Z150-500mm. Look at his expression!

I am going to experiment just sharing an image instead of a set of images, and see how this goes. Although I am getting the numbers, interaction seems to be down compared to what it used to be this year.

  1. Beautiful shot, Mark. A lot of readers follow multiple bloggers, like you and me, and I ran into the same thing, my gallery didn’t really take off at first either. What made a noticeable difference was switching to single images instead of full series. People simply don’t have the time, and when they’re hit with too much at once, they just drop off.

That’s not about colleagues or regular readers, they’ll stick around and make the effort, but casual visitors or passersby tend to look for something quick and fresh, not a full album to work through. To be honest, I catch myself doing the same when someone posts 10 or 15 images in one go, sometimes it’s just a bit too much of a good thing. Good luck with it.

  2. Such a pretty bird Mark. We got to watch a family of blue tits when we visited Sheffield in 2017. It was right at fledging time, so quite a show. Happy Monday. Allan
