It is the time of year when there are not too many leaves, and not much colour. So today, while others took their long lenses, and wide lenses and all sorts of zoom lenses, I took my Nikon ZF and my Z40mm F/2. The first time this year I have been out with just a prime lens, and I forgot how much I love shooting this way!
All portrait images are straight from camera, while all other images are straight from camera with a crop and a little bit of bloom added for effect. All portrait images taken at F/2, all other images at F/8.

I like the bloom effect you applied because I generally like Orton-like effects in landscape photos.

It just adds a little “atmosphere* I think, making them less clinical. Thank you Mike, much appreciated.
