The Old Open Cast Mines – In Fisheye

What I like about fisheye lenses is that they tell the story in a different way to other lenses. Here the lens captures 180 degrees view and distorts it into something quite beautiful.

Nikon ZF with TTArtisan 11mm F/2.8 lens at F/8. Quick edit in RapidRaw 1.5.5.

I’m not sure if anyone actually reads this bottom but, so I could say anything I like! Did you know that I have put up my Nikkor Z24-70mm F/4 and my 14mm F/2.8 lenses up for a quote with MPB? I am changing things up a little bit and thinking of getting the Tamron Z28-75mm F/2.8 for a different kind of workflow for weddings and events. Currently I use my 35mm 1.4 and the 85mm 1.8 or 50mm 1.4, but as we use a flash all the time, I can afford to use F/2.8 lenses!

    1. Thanks Marc. There are major government elections here today in Wales, so as I’ll be out voting I’ll take my fisheye and walk back along the beach and try for some interesting fisheye photography!
