It was great to be back with the group, and our first visit was to the Tennant Canal at Jersey Marine, Neath. 15 of us started and we were hit by bad footing throughout, but we soldiered on, and managed to get a few photographs and see some sights we had not seen before.
This year I am hoping to share with you square, monochrome images. Well, that was the plan! But I am already missing colour, and will be sharing colour images from today on social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
A first for today was that I recorded a lot of video, ready for my YouTube channel, where I will be sharing the experience with you all. I have no timetable for how long the video will be after the event, but I hope that you will enjoy it anyway! I will share a brief video clip of today at the end of the photographs.
All images taken on this page are from the Fujifilm X-T3 and 50-230mm lens. The video is from the Google Pixel 6.

And here is a brief video clip that I have chosen to show with you all…
A quick note on the colours in the video. Just like the colours of the images that the Google Pixel 6 produces, I think they are simply stunning! I actually took a lot of photos on my phone too, and will no doubt share those in the future (as well as from now on social media).
Beautiful pictures !
Looking forward to more video.
