It’s not very often I get to photograph cars, so when the opportunity came up to photograph at a local event held by Swansea American Autos, I knew I just had to go out and take photographs! Now, I’m not a huge fan of taking photos of cars, it’s not something I go out of my way to do usually, but it’s been a long time! On top of that, it was a sunny day, and I wanted to try out a new recipe I have put together which I have called “RetroChroma”.
Using my Fujifilm X-T3 and Viltrox 23mm F/1.4 I shot exclusively at F/1.4 in my new recipe (which can be found below). It was really sunny, so I though this recipe would be perfect for these photographs. And while I was at it, I made a video so you can experience the event!
Here is the video, PLEASE subscribe, like and follow me on YouTube!
I took plenty of photographs, and I was after a particular style for these. Hopefully that style comes across and you like these photos. Comments are much appreciated!

I know what you all want! The Recipe! I called it “RetroChroma” and it’s based on Classic Chrome. It can be used on X-Trans IV sensors such as the X-T3, X-T4, X-T30 etc.

It was a great, fun morning out, and hopefully you’ve watched the video and looked at the photos and enjoyed. I’m still enjoying making the videos, I think of them as a diary of my photographic adventures. Hopefully you are there with me for the ride!

Your recipes are very popular Mark, and so will this one – I’ll be sure to add it to my “Largest Collection of Recipes” ASAP.
I like Car Shows – coincidentally went to one yesterday Sunday – judging by the pictures yours was better. Take Care ! Marc.

Thank you Marc. It was a great morning with great vehicles to look at and photograph. Was nice to try this recipe out. I actually made it for this event as I knew what I wanted.
