Fforest Farm is a stunning little nature reserve near Cardiff, South Wales. About 40 minutes drive from my house, it has a lot to offer, but it is a place that I had never visited before before today. I tagged along with the group, and for the first time in ages enjoyed as I was just a member, and had no concerns about what was going on around me.
I took my binoculars, which came in very handy, as there was a rare set of owls in the woodland which was very nice to see. I was armed with my Fujifilm X-T3 which had the 50-230mm on, plus I had my Olympus E-PL8 which had the 17mm lens. We were quite lucky as the birds were quite tame here, and in fact, one of the Robin images was take up close and personal with the Olympus and 17mm lens!
All images are the jpegs which have been edited and had a frame added. You can’t fault both camera’s outputs on a day like today where the sun was perfectly placed in the sky for most shots.

Today I just wanted to prove that I still enjoy shooting and using the jpegs. In fact, I have an upcoming article all about that, so that will go live in the coming days. Until next time, don’t forget to have a look around the site, and please like the post, as it supports me.
good to see you are back Mark. Some more ideas are always welcome, by all the subscribers here. Look forward. Mart
