A Trip Of Discovery To Margam Park

I’ve been to Margam Park many times in my life, but today it was a trip of discovery, as me and my friend Thomas decided to have an adventure and go to places we had not visited before. Taking a different track, and heading off our usual course, we discovered a hidden little bluebell field, plenty of insects and so much more.

I decided to cover all basis, so I was carrying my Olympus E-PL8 with the 14-42mm lens and the Fujifilm X-T3 with the 50-230mm. I was really happy with the results today, as I used my current favourite ON1 Photo Raw 2023 to edit the raw files and the results are below the video… Yes! I recorded a video. Today I tried my Google Pixel 6 in 4k 60fps, plus I used many tricks in my new discovery of a video editor, CapCut. I am really happy with this video, so PLEASE watch it, and like it on YouTube too.

Here are the images from within the video for you to look at. As usual, please click on each one to see them full screen and to see the EXIF data if you need to.

As a little bonus, and a comparison, here is a clip I recorded last week using my Fujifilm X-T3 and 50-230mm lens. Again, this was edited in CapCut. I had all sorts of issues with Davinci Resolve, and then came across this software. It is free, and it is amazing! I think between the clip below, and the clip above which is obviously newer, you will see a big difference in editing technique!

I hope you enjoy these videos, and my new direction I am taking with them, featuring less of myself in them (you don’t want to see me all the time!) and more voice-over. Let me know what you think!

Until tomorrow… Please enjoy.
