New Page Dedicated To Nikon Colour Profile Film Recipes

It is an exciting time! I have launched the new page of Nikon Colour Profile Film Recipes! Starting with 12 new additions, there will be a monochrome and a section dedicated to bringing better jpegs straight from your Nikon camera!

Here is a quick look at the fist 12, but there is much more detail, including all the settings over at the new, dedicated Nikon Colour Profile Film Recipes page!

I originally shared 10 colour profiles on my YouTube Channel which can all be found HERE. Since doing that initial batch though, I took in the feedback, and also modified to get things to look even better, with more variety! There is a a colour look for everyone, and I’ll be adding more soon as mentioned above!

  1. Your new Nikon page with colour film profiles – film recipes looks really good, Mark. The sample photos are well-chosen, and with the variety of subjects, you get a very good idea of what each profile or recipe does. Your idea about the naming is smart too – the craze with Fujifilm recipes seems to decrease, probably because you can now input similar simulations on other camera brands as well. Keep up the good work, Mark. I’ll try to write an article and link to your new page by next Friday.

    1. Thank you Marc. Yes, I think it’s pointless naming after film stock, as there are just too many variables that can change a look so it looks nothing like the film it is supposed to be emulating.

  2. Wonderful! Looking to buy my first camera on a really long time. I was looking at Fuji simulations, but if you have some great jpeg Picture Profiles, I’ll wait. Thanks!

    1. I have a few pages dedicated to Fujifilm colour profiles, and of course many more Nikon to come. But for the best results, shoot raw and you’ll have unlimited possibilities.
