Heatwave Forest Walk Was Trippy!

It has been really hot here today with the temperature hitting 33 degrees, which may not sound too hot for people reading this from hot climates, but our heat is very humid and not a nice heat. We walked around Bryngarw, and melted away. I did not get many photographs that I likes, so I decided to give them some pizzaz with some trippy edits!

I also took the wrong lens. I thought I had my Tamron 90mm F/2.8 Macro with me, but instead I had my Viltrox 85mm F/1.8 portrait lens! 5cm does not sound a lot, and it isn’t, but the minimum focus distance on the Viltrox is quite a lot further than the macro lens! Anyway, I had fun, and here are the photographs.

It is not often I do fun edits, and I enjoyed this. I actually like a couple of these, including the buttercups and the fern!

  1. Some great photos, nonetheless. Yikes Mark. That is way too hot for your area. We got to 27 here yesterday and that was too hot. I hear it is going to be a wild summer. Wishing you well. Allan
