RapidRaw Instant Edit Preset Pack

As you all know, I enjoy using RapidRaw, and thankfully version 1.5.7 is working properly after all the issues with version 1.5.6. To celebrate this great program, I would like to introduce what I like to call my “Instant Edit” preset pack!

Here are five preset packs to get you on your way to perfect edits with RapidRaw.

Download the packs from here.

Installation.
1. Download the Preset Pack to your desktop.
2. Inside Of RapidRaw open an image.
3. Click On “Presets”
4. Click On “Import Presets From .rrpreset file”
5. Enjoy!

To apply them, go to the “Presets” section as normal. As I say in the video, click on the preset you want and then go into the main editing section and click on the “auto” button (or adjust as needed).

If you would like more presets, just let me know!

  1. Hi Mark,
This is a great idea, especially for photographers who are new to RapidRaw and may not know where to start with a RAW file. Presets like Classic, Film, Natural and Monochrome provide a useful starting point and can help people get to a result much faster.

What I find interesting is that these presets highlight something many photographers forget: a RAW file has no single “correct” look. Whether it’s a camera JPEG, an Adobe profile, Auto-Matched in RawTherapee, or your RapidRaw presets, they are all interpretations of the same RAW data.

Well done, Mark. This is the kind of practical work that people can actually use in their day-to-day editing, and that makes it valuable.
    All the best, Marc.

    1. Thank you Marc.

I always like a starting point, I don’t always use it, but it’s there in case! Hopefully some will find this handy. It’s been downloaded a lot, so there is hope!

      Have a great day.

  2. Thanks for providing these. I have just found out about RapidRAW for my Mac.

I will give these a try. I will watch your channel for more on the app.

Also saw you are hosting a free PDF photo magazine. I will download and view it as well.

    Thanks for the content.
