Margam Pulpit And Castle With The Olympus

A trip to Margam Pulpit and Castle. I already did a recon mission of this place, so today I tried something a little bit different and just used the Olympus E-PL8 and 14-42mm lens. The weather turned out to be very nice, and I got some great images!

Images edited in Darktable. Today was a great excuse to put the Olympus through a thorough test, using HDR and the 2x digital zoom option. I learned the HDR is very impressive, while the 2x digital zoom works well in certain conditions, while not so well in others (such as distant shots with detail). Its all a learning curve with that camera, and there’ll be a full review coming soon as I think I can now give you my feelings on the camera.

Once again, a truly remarkable day. Sometimes, its not about taking photos, but just enjoying being out and about. Photographs are just a bonus!

Until next time, thank you so much for looking.
