Usually I share my imaging recipes to the Nikon Recipes section of my website. Here you can fins a huge selection of recipes. This time however I am dedicating this blog page to these 7 recipes as we look at them in more detail.
It seems that everyone is after the perfect Fujifilm recipe for Nikon, however everyone does it, and many of us left Fuji to either go back to, or experience the beauty that is Nikon colour science. As much as I like Fujifilm colours (and was a prime exponent of sharing Fuji recipes), there is something magical about Nikon colours, and as a Nikon user for decades, going back to Nikon I forgot how amazing they are. These recipes are based on Nikon colours, no trying to recreate Fuji here! Even the Premium Kodachrome recipe is more focused on Nikon colours.

Premium Standard
This one is based purely on the Nikon Standard colour recipe. It has enhanced reds, with only slight tweaks to the greens and blues and is less contrasty than the others here. It is perfect for everyday photography and work.
Premium Vivid Normal
Enhanced saturation for a vivid look, while still keeping skin tones in check for general usage and landscapes.
Premium Vivid Punch
Keeping the enhanced saturation and look of the normal Premium Vivid Normal, the Punch version makes the greens more punchy for landscape images.
Premium Monochrome
Based on my MGA High Contrast Matte recipe, this one removes the faded matte look, and gives a nice punchy black and white look for all uses.
Premium Nostalgic
A tweaked version of the highly popular MGA Nostalgic. This can be used for multiple uses, and gives really nice vibes for any image.
Premium Kodachome 2025
A tweaked version of the popular MGA Kodachrome 2025 recipe, with toned down saturation and a slight tweak to the highlights more matching the Kodachrome slides they are based on.
Premium Cinematic Green
An inspired film look that works amazing on night time images. Giving a green/blue cast to your images.
