Today we had a lovely visit to WWT Llanelli where we took photographs of birds! That were quite a lot around the area, but the most enjoyable part was just enjoying the day. This is part 1 of a 2 part post.
For this part I will concentrate on the images taken from my Nikon Z6ii with my Tamron 150-500mm lens. Images were edited in RapidRaw.
The day was beautiful, the sun was out and the sky was blue, but there was a bit of a cold wind. After all, it is still spring, so the sun really tricked us into believing it was warmer than it was! Today was a little unscheduled visit, and at the last moment we just called on a few friends to come along with us.

All in all, and enjoyable day! The next blog coming tonight or tomorrow will look at the images and experience of using the Nikon P1100. Let us just say, at this early stage, it is so tempting to sell my long lens, because having the ability to zoom to 3000mm (or with digital manipulation 6000mm or even 12000mm!) literally opened my eyes to a whole new world of bird photography that I have never seen before!
