Sometimes it is nice to just get out. Since I got back from my week away, I have been shattered, and so a nice relaxing stroll with my eldest Samuel was just what the doctor ordered. We left the house, and walked down the road about 500 meters and strolled around the beach and river. What better place to live!
I recently picked up a Viltrox 28mm F/4.6 Chip lens (for which I am preparing a review). It was just a happy accident. I had no intention of getting this lens, but a friend of mine bought it and he did not like it, and he was already going to buy my TTArtisan fisheye off me, so we made a straight swap… And here we are now!
All images are straight from camera using a film recipe I have named “MGA 1956”. I will share this at a later date perhaps. I tend to usually edit raw files, but occasionally it is nice to just get it right in camera. Images were taken with the Nikon ZF.
Images include in-camera grain, something I do not usually do, but I wanted to try it with this vintage inspired recipe. The lens handled admirably, and it completely shrunk my Nikon ZF to a make it so much smaller than I am used to.

Stay tuned for a full review of the camera soon! I just want to collect more images and test it in various scenarios before giving my final verdict!
