A Baptism: Joanna And Ben Baptise Their Son Ben

I have been so busy lately that I am very later getting a lot of my work online to share. A couple of weekends ago I had the privilege of photographing the Baptism of Ben. We were in a beautiful St Therese of Lisieux’s R C Church and captured memories for the beautiful family.

I had my Nikon ZF with the Tamron 35-100mm F/2.8 and the Nikon Z6ii with the Tamron 16-30mm F/2.8 lens and used only natural lighting. I thought I would share some of my “filmic” edits as opposed to the natural edits of the event (as it was a life event, my main edits are usually accurate to life, with no gimmicks). These are more artistic than the natural edits.

This is only a tiny collection of the images, but I think it gives the feel of the wonderful day. I am not a religious person, however when you are working, you get involved in the moment, and you become a part of everyone else. I always like to capture real-life moments, and of the 200+ images I supplied the family, I think I managed to do that, and then some.

I have a backlog of portraits and events to catch up on, so please call back soon for more!
